1st Reading: Acts 13: 44-52
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 98: 1, 2-3AB, 3CD-4
Gospel: John 14: 7-14
Jesus said, “If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” If we have seen and know Jesus, we know the Father. Jesus and God are one with each other. Phillip asked Jesus to show him and the other disciples the Father. Jesus replied with, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip?” Meaning, that Jesus and the Father have been with them for so long, yet he still feels that he does not know the father. In the Church we learn about the Holy Trinity. We all know that the Holy Trinity consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We all know this but how many of us truly believe this? A question if you do not believe this is, why?  Remember that God loved the world so much that He gave his only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. God loves us and wants us to believe in Him and His Son.
